Here's an American Ideal 3yr old filly purchased as a yearling for $35,000.  This NY eligible filly trained down great according to trainer Tom Fanning.  She actually made a break in her first start in the Excelsior Series at Saratoga.  However, she still paced a 1:59.4 mile and earned a 4th place check on the half mile track.  She then qualified back in 1:57.2 at The Meadowlands in September...Trainer Tom Fanning decided to shut her down at that point to mature....Update: She's qualified and will be in at Pocono on Monday running for a purse of $10,800.....Her first stakes event is scheduled for June 2nd at Saratoga.....No Reserve....
